Tim and I stayed in Florida for 4 days after Angela left to go back home. We had such a relaxing time and it was wonderful spending time with Rebecca and her most handsome dogs. Tim gave them Native American names, Egon is Running Wolf, and Briggs is Big Bear. They really are sweet boys! We can't thank Rebecca enough for letting us stay with her, we had so much fun and had a lot of laughs! We can't thank Dianne enough either for holding down the fort back in Liverpool while we were gone! The most relaxing day we had down there was sitting in Rebecca's backyard, listening to some tunes, and having a few cocktails. It was worth the sunburns we all got! Tim and I took some day trips while Rebecca was working. We went to the St. Augustine Lighthouse, a beautiful beach in Palm Coast (we were literally the only ones on the beach, maybe we should have been a little more concerned about the raging wildfires that were pretty close to us), spent some time at our favorite, Daytona Beach, where we had a delicious dinner at our fav restaurant The Deck Down Under, and spent a day at Clearwater Beach and Sand Key where we saw an amazing sunset. The weather was perfect everday, sunshine and very warm temps. Amanda would tell us about the snowstorms they were having while we were gone, and as odd as this may sound, I was having a hard time remembering what snowstorms were like. It was almost like the concept of snow was foreign to me. I was reminded real quick as we had a doozey of a storm a few days after we got back. Then the concept of sunshine and 90 degree weather seemed foreign to me. Very strange!!
