Angela was busy this Winter/Spring cheering for the LHS basketball games, and competing in cheer competitions. Congratulations to the girls for taking 1st place at the New York State Cheerleading Competition in Utica, and their 1st place win at the Jamfest Cheer Competition in Philadelphia! She now has the month of July off. The new season starts in August with cheer clinics and camps, and her first football game is the end of August (before school even starts)! Amanda celebrated her 18th birthday on January 21st. It doesn't seem that long that we celebrated her 1st birthday. I remember she hated getting cake on her hands, and would cry until I wiped them off. She really didn't enjoy her 2nd or 3rd birthday's either, it must have been our singing! Sitting here on July 1st, it's kind of hard remembering this past winter. However, here are some things I do remember:
-I didn't wear my winter coat until the second week of December
-We only used 2 snow days and they weren't used until the end of February
-We only used our snow blower (yes, our trusty John Deer snow blower is still
running beautifully, thanks Donna and Paul!) about 6 times
I did get some pretty winter pictures of Lake Ontario and the surrounding areas. The picture of Tim and I was taken during a blinding snow storm, that's why the color is so funny. Now I can put winter totally out of my mind for the next 5 months!
